In this role, he worked closely with 1031 exchange and direct investment clients across the country, guiding them through the intricacies of real estate transactions and helping them achieve their financial goals.
Leadership at Kay Property and Investment
In his previous role, Steve headed Kay Property and Investment’s San Diego office. Here, he established himself as a leading expert in Delaware Statutory Trusts (DST) and passive real estate investments. During that time, Steve directly participated in finding solutions for clients to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate via private securities such as DSTs, TIC, LLC, REITs and QOZ Funds.
Military Service and Strategic Planning
Before transitioning to the securities industry, Steve served over 14 years as an officer in the United States Air Force. His military career equipped him with exceptional skills in mission planning and execution for high-profile operations within the joint special operations community and various intelligence agencies. Steve’s leadership extended to managing small teams and large staffs of hundreds of military and civilian personnel in diverse locations around the world, including multiple deployments to Afghanistan and various locations throughout Africa.
